New homes boom 'must be matched by services'
County hall leaders have warned that the housing boom across Sussex could destroy the environment. The Government has plans to build 82,400 homes in Sussex, with Horsham, Mid Sussex and Brighton and Hove expected to share most of the new development. West Sussex County Council announced yesterday it planned to fight the proposals and gave its backing to The Battle for the South East.
